Grants.gov – A website managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, this is a clearinghouse for 26 federal grant-making agencies with over 1,000 grants. You can search and apply for grants through this website, or sign up for their email subscription service at http://www.grants.gov/search/subscribeAll.do.
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance – cfda.gov is a website detailing over 2,000 federal assistance programs. The website provides detailed descriptions of each program, including eligibility, program goals, and points of contact for more information.
Illinois State Grants – Grants from the State of Illinois are often found on department websites, including the Illinois Department of Human Services Grant Alert System, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, or the Illinois Department of Public Health.
