Pope Francis in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Bill Foster is pleased to offer a limited number of tickets to residents of Illinois' Eleventh Congressional District to see an outdoor simulcast of Pope Francis’ address to a Joint Meeting of Congress on Thursday, September 24, 2015.

To find out if you are a resident of the Eleventh District, click here.

Following the address, Pope Francis will make a brief public appearance on the steps of the U.S. Capitol facing the West Lawn. The event is historic in that it will be the first time a reigning pontiff has addressed Congress.

Congressman Foster is distributing, via lottery, tickets for general admission to the West Lawn of the Capitol where attendees will be able to watch Pope Francis' address simulcast on jumbotrons. The exact time of the address will be released in the weeks to come.

To participate in this lottery, please enter your information below by September 7, 2015. Lottery winners will be notified on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. In the event that a lottery winner is unable to use their tickets, their allocation will be redistributed to lottery entrants on the waitlist on a rolling basis.

Please note, this lottery is only for admission to the west lawn during the simulcast of Pope Francis' address. Ticket holders are responsible for their own transportation to and from Washington, D.C., lodging, and other trip expenses.
