Foster Supports COLA Increase For Veterans’ Disability Benefits

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congress passed S 893 to provide veterans with a 1.5% COLA (cost-of-living adjustment) increase in disability compensation benefits.

"Our commitment to our veterans doesn't end when they leave the battlefield," said Foster. "Our servicemen and women risk everything to protect and defend our country -- we must ensure that they have the resources to get the care they need when they come home. I am pleased that this legislation passed with strong bipartisan support and hope Congress can continue to work together to pass legislation to provide our veterans with the resources and care they deserve."
