Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Bill Foster encouraged students to submit entries to the Congressional Art Competition before the April 25th deadline.
“The Congressional Art Competition is a great opportunity to showcase the talents and imagination of students in our district,” said Foster. “I encourage all 11th District students to submit an entry before the April 25th deadline and I am eager to see what they create.”

The winner will receive two round-trip tickets to Washington, D.C. for the unveiling of their work, which will hang in the Capitol complex for the next year. Three runners-up will be chosen and their artwork will be featured in Congressman Foster’s offices.
The Competition is open only to high school students who reside in the Illinois 11th Congressional District or who are eligible to attend public high school in that district. Students can find out what congressional district they are in at https://www.house.gov/representatives/find/.
