Thank you for your interest in attending a U.S. Service Academy.  As the Congressman for Illinois’ 11th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies each year.  The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. 

I will be hosting an upcoming Service Academy Day on May 9, 2026 at 2:30pm CT at 101 S River St, Aurora, IL 60506 so students can learn more about attending a Service Academy and what the application process looks like.

Applications for Military Academy Nominations for the 2026/2027 school year are due on October 30, 2026.
