Foster To Host Job Fair In Joliet

Joliet, IL – On Thursday, June 5 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Congressman Bill Foster and the Illinois Department of Employment Security will host a job fair in Joliet. Over 50 area employers will be on site to meet with job seekers. Veterans will receive advanced entry with a special one hour preview.

"As the voice of Illinois' 11th District in Congress, supporting jobs and economic development in our region is my top priority," said Foster. "So I am pleased to be working with the Illinois Department of Employment Security to provide this opportunity for job seekers to connect with area employers."

HOURS: 10:00 am – 11:00 am - Veterans preview

11:00 am – 1:00 pm - Open to the public

Job seekers who register by June 2 will have the opportunity to be individually matched with area employers. They may also have the opportunity to schedule on-site interviews.

Foster is hosting the job fair as part of his Project Growth initiative, which aims to support jobs and economic development in the 11th District of Illinois by focusing on four key issues: education, transportation, manufacturing and strengthening the middle class.
