Foster Votes To Fund Department Of Homeland Security
March 3, 2015
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Bill Foster voted to fund the Department of Homeland Security for the remainder of the fiscal year.
"I am pleased that House Republicans finally came to their senses after once again taking our government to the brink by using funding for the Department of Homeland Security as a political football," said Foster. "I am disappointed that they were willing to put our security at risk for the sole purpose of overturning President Obama's executive actions on immigration reform. The President's proposal will provide much needed relief to families stuck in our broken immigration system."
