Foster Introduces Resolution to Allow Dreamers to Serve in Military
July 8, 2021
Washington, D.C. – Last week, Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) introduced H. Res 520, a resolution supporting the ability of Dreamers to serve in the military.
"Dreamers deserve the right to serve in our military as patriots," Foster said. "Allowing our Dreamers to enlist and serve in the military would make sure our armed forces have some of the best and brightest young minds in their ranks. Every American deserves the right to serve their country through military service and Dreamers should be no exception. I strongly encourage the Secretary of Defense to review the current policy with the purpose of authorizing these individuals to serve their country."
