"It was a pleasure to meet with Mayor Burns to discuss the issues important to the growing Geneva community,” said Foster. “As a former resident of Geneva, I'm thrilled to see the progress the city's made and I'm proud to represent it in Congress once again. It is one of my top priorities to ensure that Geneva and the entire 11th District receive their fair share of federal resources to bolster local infrastructure, support small businesses, strengthen schools, and build a safer community for everyone.

Congressman Bill Foster is a scientist and a businessman representing the 11th Congressional District of Illinois, which now includes parts of Geneva under the new congressional map. Bill's family lived in Geneva, Batavia, and St. Charles during his 23-year career at Fermilab, and Bill previously represented Geneva and the tri-cities in the U.S. Congress from 2008-2011.
