Foster Statement on President Biden’s Middle East Peace Plan

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) issued the following statement:

“I commend the Biden Administration for their continued diplomacy throughout the course of this war, and I support the comprehensive plan they have negotiated to end the hostilities, secure the release of hostages, and increase humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians. This is an important step forward in the effort to achieve a lasting peace based on a durable two-state solution that protects Israel’s security as well as the freedom and self-determination of the Palestinian people.”
