Washington, D.C. -- Congressman Bill Foster introduced an amendment to the PATH Act, Republican legislation which would radically remake housing finance policy leading to fewer opportunities for home ownership for middle class families.
Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Bill Foster (IL-11) announced that the Will County Community Health Center in Joliet and VNA Health Care in Aurora have been awarded $411,659 in funding from the Department of Health and Human Services. The Will County Community Health Center was awarded $147,795 while VNA Health Care was awarded $263, 864.

The bill will, for the first time in 40 years, sever the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) from the farm bill. The money will support Joliet Junior College’s “Driving America: One Veteran at a Time” program. The grant is awarded through the Department of Transportation.
