Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Bill Foster cosponsored the Protect American Jobs and Exports Act of 2014, legislation to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank of the United States for seven years. If Congress fails to reauthorize the Bank by September 30th, 200,000 American jobs will be in jeopardy.
Aurora, IL – On Monday, June 30, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM Congressman Bill Foster's staff will be holding mobile office hours at the Plainfield Village Hall. All 11th District residents needing assistance are welcome to attend.

Washington, DC – This Sunday, June 22, will mark the 70th anniversary of the GI Bill, which has given returning veterans a hand up with educational benefits, home loans and other services. The GI Bill has been one of the most successful pieces of legislation in our country's history, growing our economy and helping veterans assimilate into civilian life. However, one glitch in the law is causing veterans to be denied the benefits they deserve.

Washington, DC – Today, the House Committee on Appropriations passed legislation, championed by Congressman Bill Foster, that would enable Argonne National Laboratory to save millions of dollars by finally removing on-site nuclear waste.
"This commonsense legislation will save taxpayer dollars and allow Argonne to devote more funding to research and development," said Foster. "Research done at Argonne, and all of our national labs, is critical to maintaining our innovative edge in the global economy."

Naperville, IL – Today, Congressman Bill Foster (IL-11) participated in the Loaves & Fishes 7th Annual Day Without Hunger event in Naperville. For 30 years, Loaves & Fishes has provided food assistance and other services to those most in need in DuPage County.

Star Wars Day, which began in 2010 with just a handful of costumers, is one of the largest one-day Star Wars events in the world.
